I am a Lecturer at the Department of Engineering at the University of Leicester.

I was born and bred in Melaka, Malaysia, and schooled at St. Francis' Institution (SFI). I did my A-Levels at Sunway College in Kuala Lumpur, and followed by a twinning program with the University of Leicester. In the Autumn of 1996, a group of over 50 of us came over to the UK to continue our second and third year. I graduated with a degree in Electronics and Software Engineering in the Summer of 1998, before undertaking a PhD in the same department. I completed my PhD in "Techniques intended to reduce the impact of program-flow errors on embedded systems" in 2002. I was a Research Fellow working on the GLACSWEB project at the renown School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton between 2002 and 2004.

Apart from cycling and the occasional walks in the country side, my free time is mainly spent on photography as a serious amateur. I have been digitally reproducing some of the better photographs that I have taken every since I got myself a good photo printer and slide film scanner. I have since gone digital (Canon EOS 20D), but still use my conventional 35mm SLR camera (Canon EOS 5).

I do hope you have enjoyed the photos in my homepage. I can be contacted at .

   Best regards,
